What is shrinkage? Shrinkage is also called shrinkage. The shrinkage of plastic materials refers to the percentage difference between the size of the plastic material product at the molding temperature and the size after it is removed from the mold and cooled to room temperature. It reflects the degree of size reduction of plastic material products after they are removed from the mold and cooled.
Factors that affect the shrinkage rate of plastic products include: plastic product variety, molding conditions, mold structure, etc. Different polymer materials have different shrinkage rates. Secondly, the shrinkage rate of plastic products is also closely related to the shape of the plastic part, the complexity of the internal structure, whether there are inserts, etc.
